For the past 25 years, Jay has let his voice be heard in radio broadcasting and morning shows across the country. He has worked in Idaho, Alabama, Tennessee, Kansas, and California. Over the years, Jay interviewed several celebrities and is looking forward to interviewing even more now since joining DAYBREAK. He has participated in several radiothons, raised over 7 million dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and has worked with Relay for Life. He is also the recipient of several distinguished awards from all major cities. Jay has been married for 25 years with 4 kids and one grandchild. When he is not with his family he enjoys spending time playing basketball and restoring his 1968 Camaro

Jason Rico, Producer
Jason Rico joined DAYBREAK in 2011. He has more than 10 years of experience in the media where 6 of those have been in professional broadcasting. He started as a studio and field camera operator. He eventually worked he was to become a multi-camera director where he directed and assisted in the production of a wide range of programs which included music concerts, talk shows, and major events. Now as the producer of DAYBREAK his goal is to extend the range of audience and to freshen the shows sound and look. Together with DAYBREAK's new host, Jay Young, they will work together to bring the latest in news, entertainment, business, sports, fashion, and health.
